Zinc Phosphate from Silox is a high-performance, non-toxic anticorrosive pigment widely used in protective coatings and primers. Designed as an environmentally safer alternative to traditional lead- and chromate-based pigments, it provides excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining compliance with modern regulatory standards.
This grade of Zinc Phosphate is engineered to deliver superior inhibition properties through controlled release of phosphate ions, which react with metal substrates to form a stable, protective passivation layer. This mechanism effectively prevents the initiation and propagation of corrosion, even in aggressive environmental conditions.
The product is characterized by high purity, controlled particle size distribution, and excellent dispersion properties, ensuring ease of incorporation into various coating systems. It is compatible with a wide range of resin systems, including alkyd, epoxy, polyurethane, and acrylic formulations, making it a versatile choice for both solvent-based and water-based coatings.
Zinc Phosphate from Silox is particularly suitable for industrial primers, marine coatings, coil coatings, automotive primers, and general metal protection applications. It contributes to improved adhesion, enhanced durability, and long-term corrosion protection of coated surfaces.
