Product Name: Industrial Grade Lecithin – Paints & Coatings Grade
Description:
Industrial Grade Lecithin is a light brown, semi-liquid, viscous syrup derived from natural sources, specially processed for use in paints, coatings, and industrial formulations. Its high acetone-insoluble content (≥58.79%) ensures excellent emulsifying and dispersing properties, making it an effective aid for pigment dispersion, viscosity control, and improved paint flow. With a balanced acid value (≤39.11 mg KOH/g) and low moisture content (<1%), this lecithin provides superior stability in both water-based and solvent-based systems.
Key Features & Benefits:
-
Excellent Pigment Wetting: Improves dispersion of pigments and fillers, reducing milling time.
-
Emulsifying Action: Stabilizes mixtures in both aqueous and non-aqueous paints.
-
Anti-settling Effect: Prevents pigment hard settling during storage.
-
Flow & Leveling Enhancer: Improves paint application smoothness and surface finish.
-
Environmentally Friendly: Naturally derived, biodegradable ingredient.
Typical Applications in Paints & Coatings:
-
Water-based emulsion paints
-
Solvent-based coatings
-
Primer formulations
-
Specialty industrial coatings
